Uganda Safaris

Uganda combines mountain gorillas, chimpanzees, savannah wildlife and the Nile within one remarkably varied journey. We’re a locally based team living at the edge of Bwindi, so our Uganda safaris are built from the ground up — permits, private transport, guides and lodging arranged together, whether you start with a short gorilla trek or a full cross-country circuit.

Choose Your Uganda Safari by Length

Most travellers pick their itinerary by how many days they have and where they land. Short gorilla trips run smoothest through Kigali, which shortens the drive to southern Bwindi; longer wildlife circuits start from Entebbe and take in Uganda’s western parks. We’ll match the routing to your permits and pace.

Short Gorilla Safaris (3–6 Days)

Best for travellers focused on gorillas with limited time — usually via Kigali into southern Bwindi.

Classic Wildlife Circuits (8–12 Days)

Best for seeing Uganda as a complete destination — gorillas plus chimpanzees, savannah game and scenery, usually from Entebbe.

Why Plan Your Uganda Safari With Orugano

We operate Orugano Bwindi Lodge in Nkuringo, approximately a ten-minute walk from the Nkuringo gorilla-trekking briefing point — but we also arrange stays across every sector and recommend the one that fits your permits, route and comfort level, not ours. You deal directly with the Uganda-based team responsible for coordinating the complete itinerary, from securing your gorilla permit to the last transfer.
