11-Day Uganda Rwanda Safari: The Cross-Border Grand Loop

Gorilla trekking in Bwindi on the 11 day Uganda Rwanda safari cross-border loop

11 Day Uganda Rwanda Safari Overview

This 11 day Uganda Rwanda safari is the widest-ranging itinerary of our four Uganda safaris, a cross-border grand loop starting in Kigali, Rwanda and finishing in Entebbe, Uganda. If you’d like to compare shorter or longer cross-border options, see our full range of Rwanda safaris. Prefer to stay within one country? Our 11-day Southwest Uganda safari covers similar highlights without a border crossing. Along the way it takes in gorilla trekking in Bwindi, golden monkey tracking in Mgahinga, Lake Mburo National Park, chimpanzee trekking in Kibale, Murchison Falls National Park, rhino tracking at Ziwa Sanctuary, and a shoebill stork excursion on Mabamba Swamp. If you want to see the best of both countries in one trip, this is the route that covers the most ground.
