Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1 – Fly from Entebbe to Kisoro and Transfer to Bwindi
Take a scheduled domestic flight from Entebbe International Airport to Kisoro Airstrip in southwestern Uganda. Your Orugano guide meets you on arrival for the private road transfer to Orugano Bwindi Lodge in the Nkuringo area.
After check-in and lunch, relax at the lodge and take in the forest and Virunga views. Where flight timing and local conditions allow, the afternoon may include the Kahurire Nature Trail and a community experience before dinner.

Day 2 – Mountain Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi
After an early breakfast, transfer to the Uganda Wildlife Authority briefing point. Rangers explain the trekking procedure and responsible viewing rules before you enter the forest with your assigned group.
The time needed to locate the gorillas varies with their movements and forest conditions, so the trek can take several hours. Once your group reaches the gorillas, the standard permit allows the regulated viewing period advised by the rangers. Return to Orugano Bwindi Lodge after the trek for a hot shower, dinner and a second night overlooking the Bwindi landscape.

Day 3 – Fly from Kisoro to Entebbe
After breakfast and check-out, transfer to Kisoro Airstrip for the scheduled return flight to Entebbe. Your international or onward connection should be planned around the confirmed domestic flight schedule.

This itinerary includes two nights at Orugano Bwindi Lodge in the Nkuringo area. The lodge and room arrangement are confirmed for your dates before booking.
