This 15-day safari takes you across Rwanda and Uganda, combining gorilla trekking, golden monkey and chimpanzee tracking, and classic East African game viewing in Akagera, Lake Mburo and Murchison Falls National Parks. The route runs from Kigali to Entebbe, taking in Lake Kivu, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Mgahinga, Lake Bunyonyi, Kibale Forest and the Nile at Murchison Falls along the way. Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival in Kigali & Transfer to Akagera
Arrive in Kigali, where your guide meets you for a city tour and a visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial. Afterward, transfer to Akagera National Park. Accommodation: Carefully selected safari lodge in Akagera National Park.Day 2 – Akagera Game Drives & Lake Ihema Boat Safari

Travel to Lake Kivu for a sunset cruise, a coffee experience, and a visit to a local fishing village. Accommodation: Carefully selected lakeside lodge on Lake Kivu.Day 4 – Cross into Uganda & Arrive in Bwindi
Cross the border from Rwanda into Uganda and continue to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. On arrival, settle in before an afternoon walk on the Kahurire Trail. Accommodation: Our own boutique property, Orugano Bwindi Lodge, in the Nkuringo sector of Bwindi.Day 5 – Bwindi Gorilla Trekking
